Task 1: If your friend takes a job working late in the night to earn money for a summer trip to Spain, but he goes to bed late and cannot concentrate on the class next day, what advice would you give him?
-If I were to answer this question, I would not like to give him any advice. There are many reasons, but here are a couple. Not knowing what situation my friend is currently in, it is very difficult for me to give him advice. He should be responsible for all his work, so I will let him decide. Secondly, I will most likely be busy working on my academic courses. Academic courses are the most important thing for students and good grades will eventually get me a great job. Therefore, I will not give him any advice.
Task 2: Which one would you prefer? Go to a college in your hometown or go to a university in a new town?
- In my view, it is better to say in my hometown to go to university. There are many reasons, but here are a couple. First of all, spending time with my family is the number one priority in any occasion. People nowadays are too busy working or studying. But we need to take a break and look back why we are working or studying in the first place. Wealth or degree mean nothing if we cannot share them with our families. Also, it is the best way to save money. If I move to a new place I have to get a new place to stay and buy a lot of things. When it comes to spending money, every penny counts. Since thrifty spending habit is indispensable in our lives, I would like to stay in my home time.
