In the lecture, the professor explains adaptation of animals living in high altitudes.
First, the professor talks about mountain goat.
It have woolly double coat. It rub themselves to tree bark to take off their layer.
This helps is to endure high temperature. And when it become winter, their layer become thick,
so that they endure strong wind.
Also, they have greater muscle mass. So they can stand on steep ground which is about 60 degrees.
Second, the professor explains 'Big horn sheep'.
They have 'coven hoof'. This make it possble for them to stan stably on steep ground.
Also, their inner part of 'coven hoof' is soft and smoothe.
So it helps them not to slip on the ground like rocks.
That's how the professor explains adaptation of animals living in high-altitudes.
