1. If I were to answer this question, I would say a participation in a research project. There are many reasons, but here are a couple. First the project was a jointed project with NASA which require us to do a lot of trainings. For example, I had to be trained (to.. to) how to do many experiments with mice and animals. Secondly, if required me to study more about the research and it gave me a lot of knowledge about it. So those are the reasons I chose (²÷±è)

2. In my view, it is better to live in a big city. There are many reasons, but here are a couple. First, living in a big city allows me to do more things. For example, I could go to museum, I could go to an amusement park, and I could go to some famous restaurants. Secondly, living in a big city has more resources for me to use. For example, in big cities there are more transportations available, more foods I can eat. And those are the reasons I chose (²÷±è)

3. The reading passage states that the university plans to stop offering evening classes in many departments. The man (agr..) disagrees with it. He provides two examples to support his opinion. First, students prefer small classes. According to him, in small classes students get more chance to participate and get more attention. Secondly, people who teach students may have more enthusiasm. For example, experienced faculty members may get tired of teaching but people who teach for the first time or second, they may have more affection towards their students. That is why the man thinks it's a bad idea.

4. The article is about habituation. Which the passage defines as a form of learning that comes from continuous and prolonged exposure. The professor in the lecture gave an example of dogs that live in that supposedly live in area where humans also exist. So when they see the humans for the first time, they would bark sharply and give warning to other dogs that are around, the same way they meet their predator, predator (µÑ´Ù ¹ßÀ½ÀÌ ÀÌ»óÇÔ). They would keep their eyes on humans until they are gone. But after sometime as humans do not do any harm to them, they would stop barking and eventually they would stop reacting as they learn that humans are not harm (²÷±è).

5. The woman has problem writing her paper in(?) history class because she cannot get resources from the library. Although library has a plenty of books, the resources that she wanted was were sent to, sent to the restoration work for at least another two weeks. So the man suggests to change topic but she has already done tons of research on it and does not want to change her topic. Secondly, the man suggests, suggests woman to wait until the resources come back. However, she does not want to wait because by that time she would have other works to finish as it comes to end of semester.

6. In the lecture, the professor explains the consequence of climate changes in animal species. The professor tries to explain it by giving an example of disappearance of thunder birds in Australia. According to her, scientists believe that the extinction of thunder bird was caused by the climate change in Australia. Scientist found bones in one spot which is a dried up lake. And according to the professor, this is very rare case. The hypothesis goes... During long dry period, the flock of birds come together in the lake which was the last remaining source of water, and wait for the rain but water source eventually dried up and it did not rain. So they eventually died.
