The way people spend their money varies between person to person. Some people think that parents giving their children weekly money to buy whatever they want can cause bad habits about money in children, but (.)I disagree to this opinion because it not only allows children to learn how to manage their money responsibly but also provides children an opportunity to learn about importance of money.
To begin with, parents should give their children weekly money to buy whatever they want (because children can learn how to manage their money by spending money on whatever they want when they are young.)
For example, my parents used to give me weekly allowance and never gave me more than that even though there was something I really needed for school. From that experience, I learned that I should always control my expense and plan ahead for money-use to prevent such incident.
Secondly, parents giving their children weekly money to buy whatever they want allows children to learn about importance of money because with money(,) people can buy and do what they could not have bought or done(before). Many fun activities and likable toys need money for children to do or buy, so as they spend their money (there are things that children would not be able to do with their money) they can learn about the value and importance of money. Experiences such as being unable to do activities or purchase toys that they want would be great chance for children to learn about money, so parent should give their children weekly money to buy whatever they want.
As can be seen above, there are many benefits from giving children weekly money to buy whatever they want. By letting children manage their spending they can learn about how to spend their money(responsibly), and by having expereince like being unable to do what they want they can learn about the importance of money. Therefore, parents should give their children weekly money to buy whatever they want.
