With the developing of the society and technology, people¡¯s perspective towards teachers has also changed. In the past teachers were considered more respectful because they gave influence in the grades of the students which led them to a good university and parents could not interfere in that relationship. Since the technology gave resources to people, such as cameras, the society changed. Thus, teachers became restrained to be rude to students because they could be exposed to the media which could led to a loss of employment.

In addition, the development in technology provides educational resources which enables students to study without the help of the teachers which leads to a disrespect in the knowledge teachers have. Since students consider that teachers have a limited knowledge of only one course, students take advantage from other educational resources which they can learn a wide variety of information of different fields easily,, such as the internet. Because students can study without the help of teacher, teachers respect decreases over the period.

Students¡¯ perspective toward teachers has changed because the society changed too quickly for teachers to adapt. Since teachers cannot adapt to quickly changing society, the gap between students and teachers is growing. Teachers are becoming unable to empathize with students¡¯ problems because of the gap.  Thus, making students consider teachers as not helpful to provide useful advice about problems they are experiencing. Because teachers do not know current social issues among students, they are vulnerable to understand the problem the student is having. Hence, it became easier for teachers to lose respect from students.
