Realistic and plausible dream can be a strong motivation for people because they know their goals are not impossible. Unrealistic dream and plan often intimidate people leading them to lose confidence in themselves. Since confidence is an important factor to achieve goals, realistic goals motivate people better than too ambitious dreams do.
People should focus on realistic goals otherwise they would end up wasting their time. To emphasize the value of time, old people often say "time is gold", and this cannot be truer in modern society. As there is no time to waste on unrealistic dream in busy and hectic today's society, people should confront the reality and make a tangible plan.
