In the given set of materials, the bar chart illustrates the number of men and women in further education in Britain in three decades. The essay will at first mention an overview and important details of the data, and will explain information left to right (top to bottom & clockwise).
Only by pointing out a few key points can one summarize the data. In general, there are increases of men and women in further education. Furthermore, the number of students attending full time education is lower than the number of students attending part-time education. The number (of women) who is attending part-time education in 1990’s is the greatest.
In terms of male education, the number of full-time education is constantly increasing. Men who attended part-time education in 1970’s was the greatest in number. In 1980, there was a decrease in number, but the number started to increase in 1990’s.
(On the other hand,) Over the years, the number of women in further education is raising trends. There was a constant increase in number and it reached a peak in 1990’s.
