1. face (직면하다) 는 수동태로 쓰일 수 없다.
Parents know how to deal with the problems that children faced whether it is about the relationship with friends or academics. 에서 보면 그 문제들은 어린이들이 직면한 것이지 문제들이 직면 당한 게 아니므로 수동태 X 또한 보편적인 상황이므로 동사원형을 써야함!
2. That time my mother told me that apologizing does not mean that I lost, but embrace the friend. 미국에서는 사과 하는 게 = 지는 것? 이라는 생각X 저 문장을 바꿔주자면 That time my mother told me that apologizing does not mean I did wrong 정도로 쓸 수 있고 embrace가 앞이랑 맞지 않음. 저렇게 쓰면 That time my mother told me that apologizing does not mean that I lost but it does not mean that I embrace the friend 가 되므로 embracing the friend라고 적는다.
3. Parent know everything about their children. everything of는 옳지 않은 표현
4. when I was a high school student라는 표현은 미국에서 잘 쓰이지도 않으며 쓰면 이상하게 생각한다. When I was in high school 정도가 적당함.
5. I asked for a piece of advice from my father and my classmate. ask 뒤에 for!!
6. My grammar basics were weak - the basic knowledge in grammar was weak이 적당하겠다.
