-They are discussing about the college's plan, opening the research writing class.
The man thinks it is a brilliant idea for students, since when he was a freshman, he had some hardship because he didn't know how to write a proper research paper.
But if the college opens the writing class, students can develop strong writing skills.
Also he thinks the 'Peer editing' is a great idea. Peer editing is seemingly insignificant part of writing, but it plays quite big part of it. So checking the grammar errors and other supplements would be helpful for each other.
Therefore the man thinks opening the writing class would be beneficial for not only freshmen but also all levels of college students
