The professor explains about the reasons why insects make sounds to communicate. The first reason is to warn others of danger. She gives an example of »çÄÉÀÌŸs. They make extreamly loud noises to warn their own species. Especially, even their youngs make really loud noises to worn their siblings of danger. Second, there is an example of tree Å©¸®ÄÏs which let others know the location of food. They produce sounds by rubbing their body parts. Their low frequency sound travels long distance, so they have highly developed ears to hear the sounds. These are the two reasons why insects produce sounds to communicate.
