According to the lecture, choice supportive bias is what people who do not regret their decisions come to have. The professor gave an example of choice supportive bias. The professor has a friend who wanted to buy a house. However, the friend couldn’t decide because it had both advantage and disadvantage. The advantage was that the house was located close to the job. The disadvantage was that the house was too small. The friend raised pros and cons and finally chose to buy the house. When the professor met the friend, the friend only talked about how nice and convenient the house was. Even though the friend had hard time because the house was so small, he didn’t mention it because he had choice supported bias.
