1. Name one of the most memorable memories you’ve had with your family.
I went travel to Indonesia with my family. It was really awesome. We went to the beach and swum together. Since my favorite exercise is swimming and liked the sunny weather, I relieved my stress in there. Also we ate many Indonesian foods, I liked them. The trip to Indonesia is one of the most memorable memories I have had with my family.
2. Which do you prefer, face-to-face communication or communication through emails.
While some people prefer face-to-face communication to communication through emails, I would like to communicate through emails. Since I am a really nervous person, I cannot speak well when everyone rounds me. Moreover, using emails can avoid unpredictable mistakes such as typing mistake. Therefore, I like to communicate through emails rather than communicate face-to-face.
3. In college would you rather take interesting but challenging courses or boring but less challenging course?
Personally speaking, I would choose to take interesting but challenging courses. Since I am an impatient person, I really cannot bear bored. Although it is easier to get good grades, I will take challenging courses because they are interesting. Interesting courses can make me concentrate to the courses even they are challenging. Then I don’t have to worry about my grades.
4. Agree or disagree: Students of all ages should be able to work part-time.
While some people believe that students of all ages should be able to work part-time, I think they should not be able to work part-time. Because first, it is not economical for young students to work part-time. Children are immature so they cannot do somewhat dangerous works such as serving coffee. Second, children should study because they have to be competitive. So that children can be great adults.
5. What advice would you give to a friend who wishes to take a year off of their college years?
I would like to advise my friend to go travel. Because first, traveling can relieve one’s stress. We are living in a hectic life, so people need some rest time. Second, going travel can widen one’s perspective. People can go through various experiences such as traditional food and clothes, Thus, I would like to advise my friend to go travel.
6. What is one way of overcoming being homesick when studying abroad?
I would like to make intimate friends. Friends are needed for lonely human-beings. I have studied abroad away from my family and I felt really lonely and missed my home. So I tried to make friends. I was really happy when I am with my friends. Thus, this is how I overcame homesick.
7. Which do you prefer: writing a long term-paper or public speaking?
While some people prefer public speaking to writing a long term-paper, I would like to choose writing a long term-paper. Since I am a really nervous person, I cannot speak out fluently and it is possible that I can make mistakes. However, I can revise my writing if I write a long term-paper. so that I can make a project much more perfect. Thus, I would choose to write a long term-paper.
8.Agree or disagree: government should ban plastic surgery advertisements.
Personally speaking, government should not ban plastic surgery advertisements. First, plastic surgery companies have free to advertise, the government is not entitled to ban their advertisements. Moreover, plastic surgery plays a major role in economic growth because many foreigners come to spend money to do plastic surgery. Thus, government should not ban plastic surgery advertisements.
9.Name a famous or influential figure who has inspired you. Describe this person and explain why he/she has inspired you.
Tom Cruise, one of the most famous Hollywood actors is my favorite actor because of not only his handsome appearance and his passion to overcome the disease, dyslexia. He really inspired me because he tried so hard to become an actor. Actually, he was not able to read scripts because of his disease but he perfectly overcame the difficulty by memorizing them all. Thus, I was inspired by Tom Cruise’s efforts to overcome his disease.
10.Agree or disagree: famous entertainers and athletes deserve to have more privacy than they have now.
In my opinion, famous entertainer and athletes do not deserve to have more privacy than they have now. Since, they are already celebrities. I believe that celebrities cannot have their own privacy. They are all well-known and people also have curiosity to celebrities. So it is impossible for famous entertainer and athletes to have more privacy.
