I strongly disagree with this statement that as society progress, advice from grandparents to children is not as useful as it was in the past.

Grandparents have much more experiences than others such as teachers and parents.
Supportive Sentence:
Having many experiences means that having much wisdom of lives. Wisdom of lives will bring about more useful advices.
Actual Example:
From my own experience, I had a problem about university choice. One university did provide scholarship but I did not want to go there because of the major. But another university that I could do the major that I wanted to do, but I had to pay school expenses. However, no one gave me any useful advice. But my grandmother solved my problem by using wisdom of lives, and I have no choice but to accept her advice. If I did not ask the question to her, I should have regretted now.
Summarizing Sentence:
This example clearly shows that advices from grandparents are still useful to children.
