First and foremost, taking a part-time job allows children to gain a lot of invaluable experiences that can never be earned from textbooks . Gaining experiences at an early age is fundamental to them as they can learn responsibility effectively through taking a part-time job. I took a part-time job in the senior welfare service center on last summer vacation, what i had to do was washing food trays in the cafeteria.
Moreover, those experiences that came from taking a part-time job make it possible for children to develop their social skills. Most of the children have limited range of relationships, since they do not have a lot of opportunity to get along with others except their own families. Therefore, taking a part-time job presents them an opportunity to interact with others, which is helpful to their social developments.
