Topic: When students work on a project, they learn much more effectively than when they do the project alone.
I strongly believe that when students work together, they learn much more effectively than when they do the project alone.
First of all, by working together, students develop their communication skills. Working in a team requires communication skills, because the students give feedbacks to each other, share ideas, or sometimes debate on the topic. When I was in high school, I had to work on a project with my classmates even though I thought I could work better by myself, but doing the project as a team developed my communication skills. This example clearly shows that learning the skills to communicate with others is important.
Secondly, the students also can learn how to respect others rather than believing on himself or herself. When the students work together, they would have different ideas or conflicts, and the group won¡¯t work with the students who don¡¯t listen to others. When I was in high school, I was student who never listened to other people¡¯s idea, but my teammates gave me invaluable feedbacks. Then I realized that I am not the only one who is always right. This example clearly shows that learning how to respect others works is also important.
