Last vacation, I took course of psychology 2 months. It helped me to develop sophistic level of my major which was medical engineering. Psychology helped me to understand the mind of patience. Then I double majored psychology which gave me the passion about my majors.
Afterward, I could write my scholar to great international journal.
My experience said the courses which is not concerning my major help to develop my major ironically.

When I was in the college, for example, I decided to take a modern art course although my major was history. By taking the class, I was able to gain lots of knowledge. And I became interested in arts. After graduating the college, I became a history teacher. And it was easy to teach history of modern art because of taking new course. From this example, I thought that taking a new course can be helpful.

Some thinks that during vacation, students should volunteer that benefits the community. However, for following reasons, I believe that during vacation, students should take a course that are not related with their major.  First, taking no related to major courses allows students’ perspective broaden. Second, through new major courses, students make new friends.
First, taking a course not related with students’ major enables students to grow up their perspective. New courses make them think distinguishable idea about their major. For example, when I was in college, I took a literature course during vacation even though my major is chemistry. The literature professor coped with 16 century alchemistry, the method that changes all material to gold. Through this course, I was able to know how to develop chemistry and understand my major deeply. I think that other course instead of major course is beneficial to broaden major’s understanding.

Some people may think that it is better to take a course not related with your major during vacation. However, in my opinion, it is more efficient to volunteer that benefits the community during break. There are some reasons to support my opinion.

First of all, I can develop my studies in my major by volunteering that benefits the community. Studying the course that is related with me during vacation might be boring and lame. However, when it comes to volunteering, such as teaching students in school the case would be different.  By teaching students, I would be able to both develop my studies and benefit the community. When I was in college, I wondered if I should take an extra course that is not related with mine or to volunteer that helps the community. I ended up volunteering the community by teaching students in school. Communicating and teaching the students the information I know was so exciting and fun. This challenged me to work and study more hard on my major. This example clearly shows that one can develop their studies in their major and benefit the community at the same time.

Moreover, I can make memorable experiences by volunteering that benefits the community during vacation. It is difficult for people to make precious events in their life since they are living in a very hectic and busy life. Vacation can be the time when people can concentrate on making new experiences. For instance, I used to teach how to read in English by volunteering in the communities. This allowed me to make new experiences. By communicating and sharing ideas with children I felt many things. This allowed me to broaden my perspective and make a very memorable experience at the same time. This example clearly shows that volunteering that benefits the community during break can make memorable experiences.

Some people may think that it is better to volunteer for the community during vacation than studying a course not related to one’s major. However, in my opinion, it is more beneficial to take a course that is not involved with one’s major. There are some reasons to support my opinion.

First of all, I can broaden my perspective by taking a different course from my major during vacation. In the modern society, it is very important to have diverse abilities. By learning new knowledge through new classes many new opportunities can be given. When I was in college I majored in Architects but, I took an Art class on vacation. After taking the Art class, I had a very special chance to become an intern. This allowed me to broaden my perspective and gain more experiences that can help me do a better job in my future career. My experience clearly shows that taking another course can broaden one’s perspective.

Moreover, I can relieve stress by studying a course not involved with my major. Studying my major even on vacation can be boring and lame. However, studying another course can be much more satisfying. When people learn new subjects, it is very intriguing. And this can allow them to feel refreshed. For instance, I took a Literature Class on vacation which was not my major. Since it was my first time learning this course, it was so interesting and exciting. I was able to relieve my stress by feeling so refreshed about learning a new content I did not know before. Also, by relieving stress through this class, I was able to concentrate on my major when the semester started. ES1: During vacation, I become very lazy and usually waste a lot of time doing nothing. However, by taking courses which is not related to my major, enables me to spend my precious vacation to learn many things and prevents me from becoming lazy.
AE1: On my first winter vacation in college, I was so lazy to come out of bed. After the winter vacation was over, I was so depressed about not doing anything and wasting such precious time. So during spring break, I decided to take a science course even if it was totally not related to my major. Compared to my winter break, I was able to spend great time to learn many things. The course was so interesting I was able to develop my knowledge and also could apply this knowledge on my own major.

AE2: Last summer, I was able to take a chemistry class that I was interested in. At first, I was a little worried about taking the course because I did not have any friends there. However, during class, we had group activities. Through group activities, I was able to make many friends. We would talk about lectures, share ideas and also provides feedback to each other. Furthermore, even after the entire lecture had ended, we still make a gathering to catch up and communicate.
SS2: This example shows that listening to other major courses allows me to make new friends during vacation.

Taking courses during vacation allows me to broaden my perspective. Gaining knowledge on various subjects enables me to solve many problems. And the only way for me to development knowledge on other fields is to take college courses. On my first winter vacation in college, I had a chance to take a course on psychology. I was able to learn about relationships between people. Moreover, I could understand how people’s emotions change during various steps of relationships. Thanks to the course, by earning various perspectives about people’s feelings, I was able to solve my own problems with my friends. And the easiest and fastest way to gain knowledge is to take courses during vacation. Last summer, although I was a student with an accounting major, I took a course in the computer science field. The lecture was about how to make various codes and programs. I was able to keep up with the course and have a good understanding about computer programming. After summer vacation, I signed up for an interview for an internship in an accounting firm. During the interview, they asked me if I could use any computer programs. I was very confident about it, and they did not hesitate to pick me. If it were not for that lecture during summer vacation, I would not have been employed so easily. This clearly shows that it is a great opportunity to listen to courses on other fields to get a better job employment.

These days, society requires student to get ability of inter-disciplinary. 
AS: I am major in tourism management. And I took an international tourism course. But I had many difficulties to make a tourism plan realistic. I did not have an idea of accounting and financial. The professor suggested me that I should make the plan more realistic. I decided to take accounting and financial course during vacation. After taking those of courses, I could make a plan in perspective of other major. It also made me think in a different way. And I could get a wide range of perspective. Also, the professor really got impressed for my work.

ES: Getting confidence helps student to be participate more. In modern society, active student can make better results than others. 
AS: I think that I was lack of confidence since young. In other words, I did not really participate in something. However, after I took a course of business course during last vacation. I felt more confidence and participated more.

AS: I am major in tourism management. It was not easy for me to make a tourism plan practicable. Because, I did not have knowledge of accounting and financial, which means my tourism plan is not profitable hence, no one take it. At next vacation, I took a business course and learned how to make my plan associated with real budget. During vacation, I finally made my perspective farther as a field of business. It made me modify my plan as I had learned in the business course. Therefore, the professor who pointed out many problems in my plan before got really impressed for my work. And he gave me a reward for great project. I could get opportunity to advance my career by taking business course during vacation. 
SS: As my example clearly show, taking other courses during vacation provides student with great chance not only to broaden their perspective also make advanced career.

AS: My brother was major in economics when he was 20. But he continued

People can meet new people from different cultures and countries when they attend in volunteer work.
During last summer vacation I went to Manchuria to help people in small community and I met friends from Japan and Germany. They participated in this volunteer work to help people like me so we can share ideas and communicate while doing volunteer work. By sharing ideas each other learned new perspectives from different cultural aspect and made better result in group activity of volunteer work. It was a good opportunity for me to broaden my perspective

Students don’t have time during the semester.
It’s not an easy thing to do volunteer work during semester because they have to take course.
During the vacation they have one or two month to go abroad to do volunteer work. When I was in high school I went to China to attend in volunteering project of NGO. I waited for that vacation to participate in that voluntary work. It was so great and I relieve stress while helping others. For me vacation is valuable time because I can do volunteer work for a long period time.

ES: When people help community, the way to help them influences a lot in result.  Sustainable development means make society develop in itself, not by just donating money but givig educational help.
AE: In my experience, by giving educational help people can make community develop in sustainable way. During last summer vacation, I went to Cambodia to do volunteer work. I helped them build the school and teach them Mathematics and English. This enabled them to study and earn money by themselves. The society started to change because they gained a lot of well trained workers. These people helped their family study and this positive cycle made sustainable development in society. Volunteering in education field causes development of community.////////

TS: I grew as an individual after I went to do volunteer work during vacation.
ES: I become understanding others difficulty so the experience of volunteering broaden my perspective.
AE: When I was in Cambodia it was so hard for me to adapt in harsh environment. There are many cultural differences and this lead me and other Korean to have difficulty in understanding Cambodian. However after both of us shared ideas for a long time about the situation they faced and tried to find the help which I can give them, we became friends and I discovered that I become humble. Before I came to volunteer for society I thought I can understand others easily. But I experienced this valuable volunteering work I realize that it’s not an easy thing to understand and communicate others so I have to be cautious when I’m with others. This helps me broaden perspective.///////

First of all, by taking courses I can make new friends. During my summer school in social science department, I can meet new people and discuss with them about various themes. My team consisted in various major students: philosophy, nursing, dentistry, and economics. I never met this wide ranges of majors and we had to prepare a presentation about marginal effect in health. our discussion was productive though my major is philosophy. By taking courses during summer school, I was able to broaden my perspective. I prefer to take courses different with my major during vacation in terms of making new friends.

Secondly, I can tighten my time during vacation. Few years ago, without taking courses during vacation, I wasted my summer.

ES: Many students struggle to study their major in strict curriculum during regular semester.
AE: First two years in my nursing college, I was hard to concentrate my major and had a low grade. By taking summer classes about philosophy and economics, I found different aspects of my major such as human rights in health and health financial policy in health. The courses make me motivated and my grade in major was increased. After graduation I applied master course in public health school and have studied this field. 
SS: I cannot find my favor and career in public health if I do not take the courses three years ago. In these reason, taking a new course is better option I think.

TS:  Secondly, taking a different course out of my filed can refresh myself.
ES: Scientific researches insists that over-concentrating just one theme is harmful to solve specific problem.
AE: I had a barrier to finalize my thesis. Last semester in my college, I took a class in public administration department. Someday, I just stopped one page in my public administration text book telling market failure. I found a cue to solve my error in discussion, and finally taken approval of graduation.
SS: Based on my personal experience, I believe taking a various course is beneficial in term of washing someone's head.

To begin with, taking a course gives students an opportunity to plan thier future clearly. Most college students don't know what they are good at. And also there are so many fields that they want to try after graduation from college. Therefore, taking an interesting course which is not from their major is really helpful to student to decide their future career plan. For example, when I was a freshman in college, I was not sure about whether I was suitable for the major I chose. During the summer vacation, I took a biology class, which is not from my major and it was so interesting that I decided to go to the health care field for my future career. That is why taking a class during first year summer vacation can be important for one's life.

In modern society, people must have comprehensive thought to society, so broadening perspectives are so important. Last vacation, I took a course that are not related with my major. I want to be a architect, but I listened to chemistry class.  When I listening to chemistry class, I could learn how to think like methodology of chemistry. I just learned architect for years,

ES : Modern society is so complicated that people must have comprehensive thought about society to solve the problems which they encounter.
AE : Almost all people know Darwin’s theory about evolution of species. Although his theory is involved in biology, he was inspired by many other subjects such as economics to establish his theory. In my case, my major is mathematics, but I took a literature class during last vacation. Since math highlights  completeness of logics and there is no exception in that field, I have been a so strict person. After learning literature, I could have some pliable thought and I could get better result in social life.

ES: Many student are under stress because of their work.
AE: When I took literature class, I could feel refresh. And I can make new friends having different background.

When I was in the college, for example, I took sports course. In the class, I met people whom I don’t know. Because I want to be close to them, I started to communicate with them. Thus, I was be able to share ideas with them. Moreover, I felt excited and energetic when plating basketball together. We became the best friends. AS: I am major in tourism management. It was not easy for me to make a tourism plan practicable. Because, I did not have knowledge of accounting and financial, which means my tourism plan is not profitable hence, no one take it. At next vacation, I took a business course and learned how to make my plan associated with real budget. During vacation, I finally made my perspective farther as a field of business. It made me modify my plan as I had learned in the business course. Therefore, the professor who pointed out many problems in my plan before got really impressed for my work. And he gave me a reward for great project. I could get opportunity to advance my career by taking business course during vacation. 
SS: As my example clearly show, taking other courses during vacation provides student with great chance not only to broaden their perspective also make advanced career.
